Hi I’m H.Cherdon.
I’m a writer, filmmaker, artist, mother of three, and a creative coach for passionate people who are tired of putting their dreams on hold.
I help makers, creators, visionaries, and artists of all kinds reclaim their creative spark and finish the projects that matter most.
Whether you’re stuck in perfectionism, drowning in ideas, or feeling disconnected from your creative self, I’m here to gently guide you back to your voice, your vision, and your flow.
What Working With Me Is Like
I’ve been creating stories for as long as I can remember. I’m an award-winning artist, screenwriter, and filmmaker whose work often explores the tension between past and present and how the human spirit weaves itself through time.
But even with a background in theater, writing, and film, my creativity didn’t always come easily. Especially after becoming a mother.
I’ve explored more creative avenues that I can list: acting, dance, filmmaking, music, bookmaking, illustration, creative writing, screenwriting, painting, you name it. I’ve dealt with writers block, creators block, style issues, overwhelm.
Now, I coach other creatives through the same process. Together, we make space for your artistry in real life. Not fantasy life. Not one-day life. This life, with all its interruptions, heartbreaks, and brilliance.
I’ll help you start or start again. I’ll hold you accountable with love. I’ll remind you, your creative voice is needed… not someday, now.

FAQ
How long will it take and how many coaching sessions will I need?
How many sessions a person needs depends an that person’s particular needs and situation. Some issues can be resolved in a single session, while others might require on-going attention.
Will you help me find a job manager or agent?
Not directly. As your coach, I will help you strengthen your own skills and you will be able to help yourself.
What if I am not living in your area?
I am available for telephone sessions or face-to-face Skype video chat sessions. With a decent webcam, mic and internet connection, Skype works well. It is easy to install and use.
How long are the sessions?
Typically, private coaching sessions last 1 – 2 hours, depending on what we need to accomplish. I have found that people generally lose the ability to focus after 2 hours, and so, I prefer to break projects requiring more time into several shorter sessions.
How often should we have sessions?
Typically, I recommend scheduling a session every week or every two weeks. If you need to work faster, we can meet more often. Of course, my recommendation depends on your specific situation and needs.
When and how should I pay?
I require payment in full prior to our first coaching session. I accept payments by credit card or debit card through PayPal. I also accept PayPal and personal checks with exceptions. Full Payment Details
Do you accept insurance?
Unfortunately not. Creative Career Coaching is not therapy and does not treat mental health issues. Therefore, it is not covered by medical insurance.
Do you offer discounts?

Is this expense deductible?
From what I understand, business and career coaching are usually deductible, however please consult your tax professional.
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes, I offer a complimentary 15-minute Strategy Session over the phone. This is a great opportunity to see if Creative Career Coaching is ideal for your situation. It also gives you a chance to determine if you feel comfortable working with me.
Will our sessions be confidential?
Yes, it is extremely important to me that you trust me, fully and completely. Therefore, everything we discuss during our sessions will remain between us and will never be shared with anyone else whatsoever.
